Shift into gear with like minded creatures and cycle across a less visited country in Eastern Europe: Bielorussia.
The Solidarity Cycle Expedition seeks to bring together volunteers from around Europe on an expedition that covers 800 km of ecological corridors with stops in colorful unique style villages.
Cycling one day out of two, volunteers will be participating in workshops and get to know better local ways of life.

Join a mixed Ukrainian-Western European group in an Ukrainian village and help to develop it as an attractive eco-agro tourism destination.
Learn and work on different sustainable development opportunities such as:
- Improving nature areas and tourism site management. Learn about Ukrainian nature and do practical work on nature routes.
- Helping to keep Ukrainian agriculture organic. Learn about subsistence farming, Ukrainian household techniques and food preservation. Assist villagers in gardening and inform them about new organic agricultural methods.
- Participating in cleaning the environment and contributing to environmental education. Learn about local ecological water cycles and waste (water) treatment systems. Improve river (bank) management and participate in the construction of composting toilets and reed filter beds.
You will work about 6 hours per day on your assignment, of course with a number of days off. The group will develop different side activities on the spot for learning and leisure! The placements of three weeks up to three months will be organised together with our ECEAT partner in the Ukraine GreenTour.
